The Carmel Wayfarer Inn is a unique and charming inn centrally located in the village of Carmel with a short and enchanting 3-block walk to Ocean Avenue. Enjoy our beautiful courtyard garden with outside fireplace, morning continental breakfast buffet and afternoon wine and cheese.

We host a plentiful extended continental buffet breakfast. Each afternoon we serve select wines and cheeses, and keep our cookie jars full of home-made treats. We are very familiar with the area and will gladly help with concierge needs.

Originally constructed in 1929 as an opulent apartment complex, the Carmel Wayfarer Inn retains the charm of its original design. Under the new ownership of Shetal and Julian, the Inn´s focal point remains our charming courtyard. Beautiful gardens and the warmth of the outside brick fireplace invite our guests to linger.
